Each month, Limo Digest is proud to feature the leading coach builders in the ground transportation industry. This month, we showcase Executive Coach Builders.
For 40 years, Executive Coach Builders has been quietly producing quality vehicles and relationships with its longtime and loyal customers. According to President David Bakare, ECB has now earned a new distinction as the nation’s largest coach builder by not only surviving, but thriving after a few tough years at the beginning of the recession.
Driven by sales of the new Lincoln MKT limo, Sprinter, GMC conversion vans, Range Rover and custom conversions in Asia (a market it has served since 2006), ECB is the busiest it’s been in years. Bakare notes that its plant is fully operational and fully staffed, thanks to three straight years of increasing sales and production. Bakare’s strategy was beautiful in its simplicity. In order to stay competitive in an evolving marketplace, he saw better options than slashing available models and sacrificing customer service and satisfaction to save a few dollars. Bakare transformed ECB into the one-stop shop with an enviable lineup that includes Sprinter conversion, 120-inch MKT limo, 140-inch Chrysler limo, 140-inch Navigator limo, 165-inch Escalade limo and a full range of limobuses. ECB worked behind the scenes to retool so that it could produce an assortment of vehicles for operators of every size and budget. ECB is proud to be celebrating 40 years of excellence in the luxury transportation industry.E xecutive Coach Builders (ECB) has always been one of those modest companies that preferred to let its products do the talking.
