California Operator Signs On for Going Green
Pure Luxury Transportation of California has embarked on an aggressive environmental sustainability program to reduce the environmental footprint of all aspects of its business, including its fleet. Using the services of Green Ride Global (GRG), a North-American firm that provides environmental sustainability programs for the transportation industry, Pure Luxury has committed to annual reduction of its greenhouse gas emissions through fuel efficiency, reduced electricity use, waste diversion, recycling programs, and employee education.
Pure Luxury had previously taken steps toward improved environmental health with its own proprietary fuel-saving technology, designed to reduce fuel consumption rates across its fleet, but needed to find a solution that would impact its entire operation. The company looked to GRG for assistance.
