Rose’s Holden Celebrates
10-Year Anniversary
In 2002, Tom Holden nearly passed over an entry-level job with North Carolina-based Rose Chauffeured Transportation. He had just left a 7-year position as general manager at a family-owned manufacturing company in Charlotte, and was ready for a break from the fast pace of management. He happened to pass by Rose Chauffeured Transportation’s garage and decided it would be fun to drive on nights and weekends. He waited 6 months for a call back, but he was eventually hired as a chauffeur.
Ten years later, Holden is director of operations and has watched Rose’s sales grow from $1.2 million to more than $8 million this year. Holden says he looks forward to the next 10 years with Rose.
“Tom’s attention to detail, driven nature, and direct communication style
have played an instrumental role in the growth of our organization,” says
HA Thompson, owner and CEO of Rose. “We wouldn’t be where we are without him.”
