Mahwah, N.J.-based Flyte Tyme Worldwide Transportation recently acquired its longtime affiliate RideWell Worldwide Transportation, based in Los Angeles. RideWell will continue to operate under its name, but will become a division of Flyte Tyme.

RideWell specializes in providing transportation for ultra-high-end corporate executives and entertainment professionals. The company was founded in 2006 by President and CEO Robert Partovi and Executive Vice President of Operations David Flores.

The acquisition is strategic for CEO Tim Rose and Flyte Tyme, which also has offices in Connecticut, Central New Jersey, and Philadelphia in addition to its headquarters in Mahwah, N.J., just outside of New York City. Much of its affiliate business is based on the West Coast, so owning and operating a Southern California location allows for seamless service. There are no current plans to integrate its reservation systems.
