The annual awards, made by the Queen on the advice of the Prime Minister, are the U.K.’s highest accolade for business success. In order to win a Queen’s Award for Enterprise in International Trade, a company has to show a substantial and sustained growth in overseas revenue over 3 consecutive years.

The company was founded in 1978 in London, and its network now operates in over 80 countries with offices in London, Manchester, Paris, New York, Boston, and Hong Kong. It also recently acquired M7 Worldwide Transportation, which was based in Boston. Tristar is currently gearing up for the Olympic games, which will take place this July 27 - August 12 in London.
