BMW Offers Livery Incentives
BMW, which is marking its debut in the livery market, is currently offering generous incentives on select BMW 5 Series Gran Turismo models to qualified buyers. The current manufacturer incentives include up to $6,000 on the BMW 535i Gran Turismo models and up to $10,000 on the BMW 550i Gran Turismo models applied to the wholesale cost (base vehicle and selected optional equipment excluding any destination, handling, and other BMW Center charges), which competitively prices the vehicles with others in its class.
The German carmaker is marketing its Gran Turismo line for luxury ground transportation. With a more comfortable seating platform—higher than a sedan and lower than an SUV—these models feature an easier egress and entry for a wider range of passengers. The BMW 5 Series GT, which has the comparable rear leg room as a BMW 7 Series and greater head room than the X5 SAV. The luggage area can be accessed by a first-of-its-kind dual open tailgate with an opening similar to that of a sedan, which does not disturb occupants inside the vehicle, while it has the added flexibility of being able to open the entire tailgate for easy stowage of larger items. The BMW 535i and 550i Gran Turismo come in both rear wheel and all wheel drive (xDrive) and feature an impressive list of options, such as a navigation system with rearview camera, a Cold Weather Package including heated front and rear seats as well as a heated steering wheel, and a Luxury Rear Seating Package including rear ventilated comfort seats and a four-zone automatic climate control.
BMW is also marketing its BMW 740Li, BMW 750Li, and BMW 750Li xDrive sedan models to the limousine industry.
