Dav
El Partners with Hertz
The Hertz Corporation, one of the world’s largest car
rental agencies, and Boston-based Dav El Chauffeur Transportation
Network, have partnered to provide Hertz customers with
Dav El’s chauffeured transportation services.
Through the partnership, Hertz customers now have an
additional ground transportation option to fulfill their
chauffeured car and short-term transportation options.
Services provided by Dav El include roundtrip airport
concierge services, a fleet of deluxe vehicles for group
events, and the coordination of transportation for large
group functions, conventions, and corporate meetings.
“By partnering with Dav El, one of the most established
chauffeured service providers, we are strengthening
our mission of providing total mobility solutions for
our customers, says Mark Frissora, Hertz chairman and
CEO. “Dav El’s extended reach, operating in more than
550 cities worldwide, complements Hertz’s geographical
coverage and provides business and leisure customers
alike with first-class chauffeured services.”
“As the world’s leading car rental brand, partnering
long term with Hertz will afford Dav El unlimited opportunity
for global growth and expansion for their chauffeured
transportation services,” says Dav El President and
CEO Scott Solombrino. “We’re excited to bring value
to the Hertz brand by fulfilling a niche need for Hertz
customers and to bring end-to-end logistical ground
transportation solutions to corporations, travel agencies,
and retail consumers.”
The announcement was made as many cities are still embroiled
in contentious battles over the legality of Avis’ WeDriveU
program. When contacted by Limousine Digest, Solombrino
declined to comment further on the deal.
