Now in its second year, Women on the Move, a national group of female transportation industry business owners, meets quarterly at various cities to network, and share their knowledge, successes, and challenges.

At its recent meeting, Lenore D’Anzieri, managing director of Driving Results, a global travel and transportation consulting group, held a session on sales and marketing successes, measuring corporate efforts, and investments. Other sessions discussed social media marketing, managing financials, budgeting, and forecasting.

Kristina Bouweiri of Reston Limousine presented a segment on how to manage financials, and shared with the group valuable information on budgeting and forecasting, as well as how to better manage a business.

In addition, the group established a book club, where members read one book per quarter as part of their leadership discussion session.

The mission of the group is to strive to find new ways to grow their businesses. The group meets on a quarterly basis, and also shares best practices, and generally supports one another.

Women on The Move will hold its next meeting March 4-6 in south Florida.
