For the second year in a row, VIP Transportation Group, a major ground transportation provider in Orlando, has been voted Central Florida’s “Best Limousine Company” at an awards ceremony at Bella Collina Country Club.

The award was presented to VIP Transportation Group by the Perfect Wedding Guide, sponsor of the 2012 Vendor’s Choice Awards.

Nominations for the Best Limousine Company are collected from vendors of Orlando’s Professional Wedding Industry, and every transportation company in Central Florida was eligible for the award.

“It is very rewarding knowing our peers in the industry nominated us for this award. We work very hard on our marketing, branding, and networking, and we are very proud to receive this award” said Simon White, VIP co-owner.

In 2011, VIP provided transportation for more than 700 brides in Orlando—a record—up from 600 the year before, and the company is on target to continue its growth in the years ahead.

VIP’s Wedding Department handles Orlando area weddings seven days a week, as well as Orlando Destination Weddings for all national markets, including international markets such as Japan and the United Kingdom. In fact, VIP is the preferred vendor for Disney’s Fairy Tale Weddings business.

“Our wedding business represents 20 percent of our revenue, with the remaining business coming from our worldwide affiliates, groups, and international accounts.”

VIP also increased their fleet to meet the demand, and is on target for a 40 percent increase in revenue by 2012. “We have received positive feedback from our customers on the new 2013 Lincoln MKT Town Cars, and to date, we are the only permitted company in the City of Orlando to offer these new cars in our fleet.”

In addition, VIP Transportation Group is seeing significant growth with their corporate markets, not only in the U.S., but from overseas as well. Furthermore, the company recently became the Orlando Alliance Partner for Carey International.

“Our growth also means we needed more office and garage space, so we recently expanded our location from 5,000 square feet to just over 10,000 square feet, which also houses our fleet.”
