Formed last year, Spinning Wheels is a group of business owners who meet quarterly to “spin their wheels” via discussions led by experts on topics to help them achieve business and personal goals.

The goal is to provide a forum to help members gather and understand the way the transportation industry does business is always changing, by presenting discussion topics that examine new technologies, processes, and procedures.

At a recent meeting, the group participated in discussions on financing and preparing for an exit strategy, OSHA regulations, disaster recovery and contingency planning, and other timely topics. In addition, Mike Zappone of All Transportation Network led the group through a discussion on goals setting and how it impacts his business.

The next meeting will be held March 25-27 In Phoenix, Ariz., and hosted by Bilen and Misgana, owners of Accent Transportation.
