East Coast Limousine & Transportation, based in Jacksonville, Fla., was selected as the exclusive transportation provider for the Sawgrass Marriott Golf Resort and Spa. It will provide the corporate and leisure guests of the Sawgrass Marriott Golf Resort and Spa a full range of chauffeured transportation options, including airport service to and from the resort, on-property shuttles, bus charters for the Sawgrass Marriott Resort’s groups, and transportation services for the resort’s many events.

East Coast Transportation was restarted in 2008 by the original ownership team—Greg Franks, Mike Sobol, and Ryan Saunders—9 years after the original East Coast Transportation was purchased by Carey International. “We restarted the company in June 2008, just in time for the bottom of the economic recession, but the market was ready for our team to return and we have seen steady growth each year since,” says Franks. He notes that sales were up 34 percent in 2010 over the previous year and year-to-date 2011 sales are up 15 percent.
